Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is seeking a skilled and dedicated DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in support of the Mission Planning (CAMPS) Modernization, Development, and Sustainment (MDS) at Scott AFB, IL. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enabling platforms and services that ensure the implementation of information security best practices. They will be responsible for establishing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, supporting software development, and ensuring continuous integration and deployment while meeting government standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Enable platforms and services to implement best practices for information security, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Develop and establish automated CI/CD pipelines and application/infrastructure blueprints that align with required control gates from an enterprise-managed platform.
- Ensure pipelines and blueprints are reusable and can promote code changes from development to production.
- Implement and maintain blueprints to meet Government standards for infrastructure and operating systems.
- Provide support for Vendor Managed Development Platform by downloading, installing, and maintaining applicable software and firmware.
- Configure, validate, and maintain development environments for verifying application installation within Enterprise Managed Platform environments.
- Support development activities through the full application lifecycle (Develop, Build, Deploy, Test).
- Maintain interconnections between development environments to ensure seamless integration with other program environments.
- Assist with software development and sustainment environments instantiation within the DevSecOps framework.
- Support all stages of software development and integration, ensuring smooth transitions from development to deployment.
- Deliver scripts and automation to fully test and deploy application functionality.
- Deliver code and artifacts via the appropriate repositories within the Government’s designated environment.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure/platform support.
- 3-5 years of experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance.
- Proficiency in coding/scripting languages, such as Java, C++, XML, HTML 5.x, and JSON.
- Familiarity with automation tools like GitLab, Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.
- Experience with cloud technologies in the context of cloud DevSecOps.
- Working knowledge of security concepts and tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption).
- Experience implementing DISA STIGs for security compliance.
- Expertise in configuration management.
- Knowledge and experience with Linux Operating Systems.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Computing.
- Proven expertise in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies.
- Strong coding skills in at least one common scripting language (e.g., Python, Ruby).
- 1+ year of experience working with the Consolidated Air Mobility Planning System (CAMPS).
- 1+ year of experience with Magellan software or equivalent systems.
- Active Secret level security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with additional security compliance frameworks and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interface with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
