Description

Data Intelligence, LLC is seeking a results-driven Technical Director with extensive experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs, particularly Navy program offices such as PMWs. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in C4I/IT systems and proven leadership in managing personnel and complex technical tasks. This senior-level role is critical to overseeing the successful execution of high-visibility projects supporting national security missions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the senior technical authority overseeing all aspects of project execution, technical strategy, and systems integration.
  • Provide direct support to DoD program offices, such as Navy Program Management Warfare (PMW) organizations, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and technical requirements.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor multidisciplinary teams executing high-impact technical and engineering tasks.
  • Oversee the development and review of engineering documentation, system specifications, test plans, and integration strategies.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and meet technical and operational requirements.
  • Apply expert knowledge of Navy communications systems, including SATCOM (both MILSATCOM and commercial), Tactical Communications, and GPS technologies, to inform system design and integration.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, quality assurance, and risk mitigation for technical execution.
  • Represent the company and project teams in senior-level technical and programmatic discussions with government clients.

Required Qualifications:


Education:
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, science, or technical field.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience supporting DoD program offices (e.g., PMW), with a focus on technical and systems engineering tasks directly relevant to program objectives.
  • At least 5 of those years must be within the last 5 years.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience managing personnel and technical tasks, with 5 of those years also within the last 5 years.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership in the development, integration, and sustainment of military C4I/IT systems.
  • Proven expertise in Navy-specific systems including SATCOM (MILSATCOM and Commercial), Tactical Communications, and GPS.

 

Certifications:

  • DAWIA Level II (or equivalent) in Program Management or Systems Engineering is desired.

 

Security Clearance:

  • Must possess an active Top Secret / SCI (TS/SCI) clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong technical writing, planning, and documentation capabilities.
  • Familiarity with acquisition processes and program management best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior military and civilian stakeholders.
