Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems
- Perform software updates and system modifications
- Install, modify, wire, fabricate, and maintain electronic systems
- Identify and resolve systemic failures through root cause analysis
- Develop and manage a structured training program for junior technicians
- Ensure support equipment (test measurement and diagnostic equipment, etc.) is regularly calibrated and maintained across all field sites.
Qualifications
Education
- BA/BS from an accredited college or university in Electronic Systems Engineering Technology
- Four additional years of experience may be subsisted for the BA/BS degree requirement
- 10 years of experience in testing electronic equipment
- 8 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic subsystem installations in military systems
- Expertise in distinguishing between hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems
- Strong background in system failure resolution and preventative maintenance program development
- Experience in training and mentoring junior technicians
- Must possess at least a secret level security clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced military environment
