We are seeking a highly experienced Technician, Electronics Systems Maintenance - LEVEL V to support the testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic subsystem installations in military systems. This role involves resolving complex system failures, developing preventive maintenance programs, training junior technicians, and conducting root cause analysis in collaboration with engineering teams. The selected candidate will also oversee the calibration and maintenance of support equipment across field sites.This position is onsite at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. 

Key Responsibilities​​

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems
• Perform software updates and system modifications
• Install, modify, wire, fabricate, and maintain electronic systems
• Identify and resolve systemic failures through root cause analysis
• Develop and manage a structured training program for junior technicians
• Ensure support equipment (test measurement and diagnostic equipment, etc.) is regularly calibrated and maintained across all field sites.

Qualifications
    Education

• BA/BS from an accredited college or university in Electronic Systems Engineering Technology
• Four additional years of experience may be subsisted for the BA/BS degree requirement

    Experience

• 10 years of experience in testing electronic equipment
• 8 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic subsystem installations in military systems
• Expertise in distinguishing between hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems
• Strong background in system failure resolution and preventative maintenance program development 
• Experience in training and mentoring junior technicians

    Additional Requirements

• Must possess at least a secret level security clearance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced military environment
