Description

We are hiring a Senior Data Architect — Data Modeling to lead the design and evolution of the JADE program’s proprietary data models, semantic frameworks, ontologies, and taxonomies. This role will structure complex, mission-critical datasets and enable interoperability across custom digital forensic capabilities and transition-partner systems. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, collaborate across teams, and independently solve complex data architecture and modeling challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and evolve data models, ontologies, taxonomies, metadata frameworks, and knowledge structures.
  • Define relationships between data entities to improve interoperability, searchability, and knowledge representation.
  • Develop semantic models and data structures that support program and enterprise data-processing requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to map data and establish consistent data standards.
  • Support data governance and ensure models align with organizational and mission objectives.
  • Improve integration and interoperability across program and transition-partner systems.
  • Mentor team members and provide technical guidance on data modeling and architecture practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, semantic modeling, ontology/taxonomy design, or data governance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex data models and knowledge frameworks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and across technical teams.
  • Ability to mentor others and translate complex data concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance and support work through SCI channels.
